Mission

The center’s mission is to “foster academic discourse specific to the craft of teaching while leveraging technology, academic assessment and professional development to enhance pedagogy and student learning.”

There are three pillars implemented at the Center For Teaching Excellence are Craft of Teaching, Academic Assessment, and Academic Discourse.

The Craft of Teaching

This pillar supports faculty with evidence-based, high impact practices that are consistent with research in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
