KCKCC to Host Business & Life Mastery Workshop

Kansas City Kansas Community College is hosting an event later this week to help entrepreneurs gain valuable skills to make their businesses a success and to grow as a business leader.

Kansas City Kansas Community College is hosting an event later this week to help entrepreneurs gain valuable skills to make their businesses a success and to grow as a business leader.

This is the second year for the Business & Life Mastery Workshop. The event is from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Dr. Thomas R. Burke Technical Education Center, 6565 State Ave. There is also a networking event from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is $59 and includes event entry, a continental breakfast, lunch and a networking event. Students can attend the event for free, and group discounts are available. The event is sponsored by KCKCC’s EIC.

Joel English, Business Coach in the EIC, said that because of the success of last year’s event, there are longer sessions this year so attendees have more opportunity to gain business knowledge. The 2017 speakers include:

·         Aaron Brauch, business consultant and coach, Business Mastery Speaker. He is an Anthony Robbins Platinum Partner/Trainer and was featured in the New York Times as a “serial entrepreneurial success.” In the last six years, he has amassed $3.7 million in annual profits and is an advisor to millionaire organizations.

·         Antonio J. Soave, former Secretary of the Kansas Department of Commerce, Commerce and the Entrepreneur. Soave established the Kansas Commerce Magazine and is credited with creating “jump Start Kansas Entrepreneurs,” a grant program for start-up companies across the state of Kansas. He is also credited with creating “Made in Kansas,” a manufacturing initiative that culminated in the Global Manufacturing Summit and “Outdoor Space Initiatives,” a project meant to attract global satellite production companies to Kansas.

·         Dr. Ruben West, published author/serial entrepreneur, Life Master Speaker. He is the author of “The Surgical First Assistant,” “Destination Mastery” and the “Live your BEST Life” series and created the progession of Surgical First Assisting in Kansas. In addition, he has started several business that are now generating millions of dollars. His coaching focuses on increasing productivity and improving relationships.
