KCKCC Foundation

KCKCC Foundation

The primary purpose of the KCKCC Foundation is to raise, manage, and distribute funds for students at KCK Community College in the form of scholarships

The KCKCC Foundation is a 501 c (3) corporation.  It operates under its own articles of incorporation and by-laws and through the guidance of its own 10 member board of directors.  The College is represented on the board by one representative from the College Board of Trustees.

Funds are raised through, unrestricted donations, endowed scholarships, corporate sponsorships, special fundraising events such as the 4.0 Gala Event, Mid America Education Hall of Fame Dinner, annual giving campaigns, and planned giving through estate planning.

The KCKCC Foundation awards scholarships each year ranging from $250 to assist with the purchase of books to full payment of tuition, fees, and books based on scholarship criteria and a student’s academic qualifications.

Many of the recipients of these scholarships are non-traditional students who don’t qualify for traditional forms of financial aid.  Many are single heads of households trying to raise a family on their own, working full time jobs, and still trying to make their life better by getting a college education.

Donations may be designated unrestricted, which allows them to be used in the areas of greatest need or you may specify a particular program or scholarship fund you would like your donation to support.
