The Teachers of Tomorrow, the Economics Club and the Intercultural Center at Kansas City Kansas Community College joined forces Sept. 20 for a documentary and discussion of “Escuela,” the story of a teenage Mexican-American trying to get an education while trapped in the cycle of migrant farm work. Social Science professors Dr. Hira Nair (left) and Dr. Mehdi Shariatir facilitated the program.
