Thanks to a generous grant from the KCKCC
Endowment Association, the Community
Outreach Counseling Program will be awarding
Tuition Assistance for qualified single parents/
displaced homemakers for the Summer
2009 Semester at KCKCC.
Applicants must be single parents with dependent
children, or displaced homemakers.
Displaced homemakers are individuals who
have had careers as homemakers, but who must
find paid employment due to the death, divorce,
disability, or long-term unemployment of the
spouse. Applicants must be pre-enrolled for
classes at KCKCC for Summer 2009.
Applications will be available in the
Community Outreach Counseling Program,
Jewell Student Center, Room 3371, beginning
Monday, April 13, 2009. The deadline for all
application materials to be received is Friday,
May 15, 2009, by 4:00 PM. For additional questions,
