Bio for Marissa L. Herring
Marissa chose Kansas City Kansas Community College due to the academic program and resources available to her. Marissa has been the work-study student in the Office of the Dean, Student Services since the spring semester, 2006. Her major area of interest from the beginning has been the Nursing/ Registered Nursing Program. She plans to apply for the KCKCC Nursing Program and anticipates completing her two year degree in general studies by December, 2008. Due to her GPA, among other attributes, she was a scholarship recipient of the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Kansas City, Kansas in the spring, 2007.
