The Social and Behavioral Sciences & Public Services division is committed to the success of each student.
Our mission is to prepare tomorrow's difference makers today by offering students an exceptionally rich and rewarding educational experience that cultivates a culturally knowledgeable, self-reflective, empirically minded, service-oriented individual through a critical approach to scholarship.
Courses in areas such as sociology, psychology, elementary education, paralegal, addiction counseling, criminal justice and early childhood helps prepare students for the complex issues facing our society while helping them prepare for transfer to a four-year institution to complete their bachelor’s degree or enhance their employment opportunities through a certificate program.
