The Center for Teaching Excellence supports and provides educational development opportunities rooted in evidence-based, high impact practices for face-to-face, blended/hybrid, and traditional online courses. The goals are to support faculty instruction, student learning, and achievement of student learning outcomes.

There are two pillars of the Center For Teaching Excellence are Craft of Teaching and Academic Discourse.
The Craft of Teaching
This pillar supports faculty with evidence-based, high impact practices that are consistent with research in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
Academic Discourse
This pillar supports the creation of a community of learners, who engage in academically informed discourse using critical analysis on a variety of topics.
