Learning Services provides innovative, technology enriched academic support to stimulate critical thinking & collaborative learning across all academic disciplines.

The Program is composed of the following services:

  • Walk-in Tutoring for Reading, Writing, Math, or Science. The Tutoring Center is staffed by both faculty and peer tutors.
  • Online Writing Consultations
  • Individual/Group Peer Tutoring

Requesting Service

Students who are interested in receiving tutoring must come to the Learning Services (located in the Learning Commons) and request the service or apply for the service online. Each semester, approximately 300-500 currently enrolled KCKCC students self-identify and request tutoring, or are identified by instructors, through the Early Alert Program, as students who could possibly benefit from tutoring.
