GED classes, offered in Spanish, prepare adults for all subjects on the GED test: math, reading, social studies and science. These classes also strengthen writing skills and help students prepare to transition to college or careers after earning their GED.

Registration
Classes are available to register in advance. Full payment will be due at the time of registration. You may register one of three ways:
- Register online with credit card at the KCKCC GED in Spanish Registration website.
- Call the Community Education (CEB) office at 913-288-7660 to pay with credit card.
- Register in person at KCKCC’s Community Education Building (CEB) to pay with credit card, check, or exact cash.

Refund Policy
If you are registered for a course and decide to cancel, a written request for a refund minus a $10 non-refundable processing fee will be honored up to five (5) business days prior to the class start date. Please send your written request to Amy Inlow at ainlow@kckcc.edu.

Books may be collected at the Community Education Building (CEB) on the KCKCC campus Monday through Thursday between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm after online registration or during in-person registration.
Virtual Classes
All subject courses are offered virtually and held through ZOOM. The virtual sessions are instructor-led by the GED in Spanish Instructor. The ZOOM meeting link is provided at the time of registration. Students must follow the following expectations for attendance to be counted.
- Be on time
- Have cameras on
- Limit background distractions
- Have microphones muted unless speaking
- Open and utilize the chat feature
- Participate appropriately
In-person Instruction
In-person GED in Spanish instruction will be held on KCKCC's main campus. Course subjects and schedules will be announced during open registration for the Fall and Spring semesters.
