Academic Resource Center

The Academic Resource Center is available to assist students in strengthening their academic skills and successfully completing their college work. Support services and an assessment of current achievement levels are available to all students.

Tutoring Services

The Tutoring Services program at Kansas City Kansas Community College is certified by the College Reading and Learning Association.

Students who are interested in receiving tutoring must come to the ARC and request the service or apply for the service online. Each semester, approximately 300-500 currently enrolled KCKCC students self-identify and request tutoring, or are identified by instructors, through the Early Alert Program, as students who could possibly benefit from tutoring.

Assistive Technology

Assistive technology makes computers (and other aspects of daily living) accessible for individuals with disabilities. KCKCC has several assistive technology packages available for students.
