How to Pay Your Bill

A student, with a valid ID, may pay in person by cash, money order, or credit/debit card at one of our locations:

1. Login to Self Service as a current student.
2. Under Financial Information, select “View Account” and then select “Make Payments.”

KCKCC has partnered with Nelnet to provide student account payment services. This includes the ability to make payments by bank account, credit/debit card, 529 Plan, or foreign currency.

Make sure to include your Student ID# on the memo line.

1. Login to Self Service as a current student.
2. Under Financial Information, select “Payment Plans.”

Important things to know about payment plans:

• There is a $30 non-refundable enrollment fee.
• Fall & summer payment plans are available on April 1.
• Spring payment plans are available on November 1.
• Payments are due on the 10^th of every month. The balance owed is divided by the number of payments to be made based on term and adjusted throughout the term as financial aid and other payments are made.
• Missed payments result in a $10 late fee. Payments are reprocessed once and if the late payment fails, the payment plan is terminated.
• Each student is given a schedule for their payment plan before agreeing to the payment plan.
  • Note: The later a student enrolls in a payment plan, the larger the payments are each month.

Federal Financial Aid and Campus Scholarships 

Please verify with the Financial Aid Office that you have completed your FAFSA and are eligible for financial aid.

Outside Scholarships

If students receive a scholarship, the scholarship check needs to be submitted to the Business Office so it can be applied to the student account.

Third Party Sponsorship 

Forms/authorizations should be turned into the Business Office as soon as possible to ensure your position in class. These forms may also be emailed to kcecil@kckcc.edu.  

Agencies or organizations requiring course completion or proof of grades before they authorize payment are considered tuition reimbursement programs.

• Tuition reimbursement programs do not qualify for the third-party billing process.
• Students participating in tuition reimbursement programs are responsible to make their own payment arrangements, according to the KCKCC tuition payment policy, and seek reimbursement directly from their sponsoring agency or organization.
